Commercial Solar

Lower your overhead. Hedge your rates. Now's the window.

For Florida businesses, commercial solar still earns a federal tax credit plus accelerated depreciation in 2026 — and rising utility rates make the case stronger every year. Designed and installed in-house under licensed master-electrician oversight, by a team that's been doing this since 2006.

Why businesses choose solar now

The incentive window won't stay open forever — here's what commercial solar delivers in 2026.

Cut operating costs

Solar offsets one of a building's largest recurring bills, and that saving lands every month for decades.

Federal Investment Tax Credit

Unlike the expired residential credit, the commercial ITC is still available, and with bonus adders pushing the benefit toward 30–40% of system cost for many projects.

Accelerated depreciation

Commercial solar also qualifies for MACRS (often with bonus) depreciation which lets you write down most of the cost on a short schedule.

Hedge against rate hikes

Lock in your energy cost and protect your margins as utility rates climb year after year.

Master-electrician oversight

Commercial work raises the stakes with interconnection, load, and code. Every project is engineered and overseen by a licensed Master Electrician.

Built and managed in-house

Engineering, permitting, utility interconnection, installation, and inspection are handled end to end by our own team, never subcontracted.

Incentives, eligibility, bonus adders, and deadlines are complex and subject to change — consult a qualified tax professional. Read our 2026 commercial tax-credit guide.

We design around your site and your load — whatever puts the most of your bill under your own control.

Rooftop

Put unused roof area to work on warehouses, plants, and retail. This is typically the fastest path to savings.

Ground-mount

Ideal where land is available — sized to your load with optimal orientation and tilt.

Solar carports

Commercial solar — common questions

Is the solar tax credit still available for businesses in 2026?
Yes. While the residential homeowner credit expired at the end of 2025, the commercial Investment Tax Credit (ITC) for solar remains available, and bonus adders such as domestic content can increase it. Federal incentives are on a phase-down path and the deadline rules are detailed and changing, so timing matters. 2026 is worth a serious look. Always confirm eligibility and treatment with a qualified tax professional.
How do the tax credit and depreciation work together?
They stack. The ITC is a credit against your federal tax, and separately the system qualifies for accelerated depreciation (MACRS, often with bonus depreciation), letting you write down most of the system's cost over a short schedule. Together they're what make commercial solar so compelling on an after-tax basis. We'll model both for your project.
What size business does commercial solar make sense for?
Generally any business with meaningful daytime electricity use and enough roof, land, or parking to host an array such as warehousing, manufacturing, agriculture, retail centers, medical and office buildings, and similar. If your business has the tax appetite to use the credit and depreciation, the economics get even stronger.
Do you handle permitting and utility interconnection?
Yes, we manage the entire process in-house: engineering, permitting, structural review, utility interconnection, installation, and inspection. You get one accountable local team from assessment through commissioning.
